Product focus
MONIN fruit mixes, concentrates, and selected syrups
Iced tea and lemonade are useful ways to add refreshment without complicated preparation. A focused MONIN flavor range can support seasonal drinks, meeting service, takeaway sales, and non-alcoholic menu variety.
Ingredients
- 1 oz. 30 mL MONIN Strawberry Syrup
- 1 oz. 30 mL fresh lemon juice
- Fill with 5 oz. 150 mL cold water
- ice
Method
- 1
Pour the syrup and lemon juice into an ice-filled serving glass in the order listed.
- 2
Add the cold water and stir from the bottom of the glass upward.
- 3
Taste before it leaves the pass, because lemons vary far more than syrup does.
- 4
Garnish and serve.
Service notes
Adaptation options
Iced tea serve
- 1 oz. 30 mL MONIN Peach Purée - Fill with 6 oz. 180 mL freshly brewed black tea, cooled - Build over ice, stir, and garnish with a peach slice. - Glass: Tall/Pint, 18 oz. - Brew the tea at double strength when it is going over ice, or the drink arrives watery.
Rotating the flavor
- Summer: white peach, strawberry, or passion fruit. - Autumn and winter: blackcurrant, pomegranate, or red fuji apple. - For a sparkling version, replace the water with soda and cut the syrup by a quarter. - Whatever the flavor, keep the lemon juice fixed at 1 oz. 30 mL. Moving both at once is how a drink stops being repeatable.
Service beyond the counter
- For meetings and events, batch the lemonade base without ice and hold it cold for up to four hours. - For hotel welcome drinks, pour at half strength into smaller glassware. It is a greeting, not a menu item. - For offices, the tea serve holds through an afternoon better than the lemonade does.
Why this works on a menu
- Adds menu variety with a low-complexity preparation model.
- Works for dine-in, takeaway, meeting, and event occasions.
- Lets teams rotate flavors without rebuilding the whole menu.
Where it can fit
